The Abyss Table is a stunning coffee table that mimics the depths of the ocean with stacked layers of wood and glass. Made by London-based furniture design company Duffy London, the limited-edition piece comes with the hefty price tag of £5,800 (nearly $10,000).

I love the look of the walls of this house. It would be fun to dress up and have fancy party in this clean, yet tarnished space. Love it.

This simple design gives me hope. I hope that this is the mark of a trend away from over indulgent, huge homes where people only use a small portion of their home. It symbolizes a acknowledgment that we only need a small amount to survive, and a still small amount to be happy. The rest is clutter and mostly takes away from the small but valuable things that make life wonderful. The design is amazing too, and I would love to get cozy in this small abode with my loved ones.

Tom’s Treehouse is an impressive three-story treehouse that was completed in 2011 and built for free by the talented and generous friends of couple Tereasa Surratt and David Hernandez. They used their combined skills of carpentry, roofing, and design to create a beautiful and touching tribute to Surratt’s’ father, who passed away shortly after the couple bought the property.

I just fell in love with a house. A treehouse.
